When you reach your allocated transfer allowance for the month, are you cut off? Or is there an option to automatically increase, upgrade your allowance?

We dont suspend bandwidth exceeders unless they are new (within a month or 2) and the overage is quite large.
Most providers have an overage penalty that is usually right around $1.00/gb if you go over your plan allotment. We dont think this way, we think that using more resources is great because it means that your project is growing. We dont want to play the gotcha game so we are very relaxed about bandwidth overages on our vps plans. If you go over by 10% this month it's no big deal, if you go over again next month then it makes sense to upgrade your plan.

I think, before you reach your limit, or the second month, you will be already be given an option to upgrade or increase your allowance wouldn't you, dave?

Trying Hard: Yes
If we think that your account needs to be upgraded we will open a ticket with you to chat about it. However customers often open a ticket to us when they get close to their limits which allows us to discuss a plan going forward.

Ah, wonderful. It is rare to see so flexible an approach to it, especially since so many so called unlimited bandwidth hosts are so fast to clamp down. Thanks for the answer.
